My Thai Food Venture in Bangkok

I have been up since 11.30 pm last night. It 5 pm India time now. I
barely had 3 hours of sleep in a flight from Mumbai to Bangkok at night. Stayed awake once I checked in because yours truly decided to use her Sunday early morning for a fantabulous Thai Cooking class. I just got back from the class to my hotel room  and am so excited to share my experience with you that I am almost ignoring the constant yawns and my droopy eyelids.

I enrolled myself for half a day class at Blue Elephant Cooking School Bangkok, after checking out Lonely Planet Bangkok Cooking Courses. When I read this I knew I had to go. Here is a link if you are interested to do this whenever you visit this place. It included a local market visit followed by cooking a 4 course meal. I also got a Certificate and an Apron. Oh and their special Red Curry Paste which I will gift to my mother. There are however other cheaper courses available. I just decided to go for this as there are only a few places open on a Sunday and I liked the dishes that were being prepared today.

It has been a pretty exciting morning and here are the pictures from my new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 :). Finally I said goodbye to that damned BB which kept dying on me every 5 minutes. Now enjoying the sexed up experience of the touch phone of the day. Ooh and instagram ofcourse, if you noticed(“fluttering my eyelashes”). Here is a short sneak peak into my day.

So in the next couple of days, will share the recipes with you.  I will also mention vegetarian alternatives for those of you, who prefer veg options. Will also post pictures of the day on my FB page. Unfortunately, I over exposed some of the images from my market visit, so feeling quite bummed about it.
